Jenny Phillips is a Christchurch based artist who has been painting for over 15 years. Before beginning her career as an artist, Jenny was the founder, owner and operator of Jenny Burtt Florist for 22 years, and worked as a florist tutor — continuing her passion for creativity and design.

A lifelong gardener with a love of landscape design, Jenny draws much of her inspiration from the natural environment. Her work reflects a love of earthy colour palettes, rich textures and the changing landscapes that surround us. Working primarily with acrylic and oil, she creates contemporary landscapes and abstract pieces that capture atmosphere, depth and a sense of place.

Jenny is a proud member of Arts Canterbury and has enjoyed success exhibiting her work throughout Christchurch. Her paintings have found homes with collectors across New Zealand, and she is grateful to have established herself as a successful selling artist.

Every painting is an original piece, created with the hope that it brings lasting enjoyment to the people who live with it.
